Men have been able to rent their formalwear for years. Women, on the other hand, have been required to buy every dress or gown they wear, even if it's only for one evening. Fairy Tales Formals opened in 2005 to make sure that women had the same options as men when it comes to formalwear and it is now the only location in Massachusetts that rents and sells both women's and men's formalwear.
