What does Fairy Tales Formals rent?
Fairy Tales Formals rents men's and women's formalwear, such as tuxedos, ball gowns, party dresses, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, and wedding gowns.
How much does it cost to rent from Fairy Tales Formals?
Any dress in stock is $60 for four days plus alterations. Dress rentals include the dress and any accessories on the hanger with the dress.
Any tuxedo in stock is $129.95 for four days. Tuxedo rentals include pants, jacket, shirt, shoes, vest, and tie/bow tie. Basic alterations for pants is included in the rental price.

How early do I need to reserve a dress or tuxedo for renting?
It is suggested that you reserve your rental as early as possible, however we need at least 2 weeks so we can ensure that all alterations and cleaning are done in time for your event.
How much do I need to bring with me to reserve a dress or tuxedo for renting?
There is a non refundable $20 deposit required with every rental reservation.
Can I pay the rental deposit online?
At this time, Fairy Tales Formals does not accept any payments online. This is to protect your privacy, as our web servers are not secure.
Are alterations included in the rental price?
Hemming tuxedo pants is included with each tuxedo rental. All other alterations are extra.
When can I pick up my rented formalwear?
All rentals are ready 2 days before contractual start date. We encourage all rental customers to come in that day for a final fitting just in case additional alterations are needed.
Am I responsible for damages to or loss of rented formalwear?
Normal wear and tear is expected and you are not charged anything additional for repairs or replacement due to normal wear and tear. However, if it is obvious that the damage was purposeful, caused by carelessness, or if the item is lost you may be responsible for repairs or replacement.
What if I'm late returning my rented formalwear?
Rentals are for 4 days. If you are late in returning the rented formalwear, you will be billed an additional $10 per day late. For example, if you bring in the formalwear on the 6th day, you will be billed $20 additional.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your rental reservation up to 72 hours before the contractual start date. Reservation deposits are non refundable.
What does Fairy Tales Formals sell?

Is there a discount if I purchase the dress or tuxedo that I rented?
Yes. If you decide to purchase the gown or tuxedo that you rented from Fairy Tales Formals, the rental amount is deducted from the purchase price.
Can you do alterations on purchased formalwear?
We can do basic alterations on purchased formalwear, but alterations are not included in the purchase price.
How much are alterations?
Prices of alterations vary with each article of clothing, but to give you an idea of what Fairy Tales Formals charges:

Is there a tailor at Fairy Tales Formals?
We can do basic alterations, but we would love for an experienced tailor to join the team. Please contact us today if you're interested.
Does Fairy Tales Formals carry plus–size gowns and tuxes?
We have a wide selection of sizes and styles of formalwear including plus–size.
Can you special order gowns?
We purchase the majority of our formalwear from wholesale companies, which usually means we cannot special order designer formalwear. However, our inventory is always changing and we're happy to work with you to find the right gown or tuxedo for your event.
How many gowns and tuxedos do you have in stock?
Currently, we have more than 1600 designer gowns and 300 designer tuxedos in stock ready for rental or purchase.
Are the gowns and tuxedos new or pre owned?
Most everything in stock is brand new, but we do sell pre–rented formalwear at reduced prices. All pre–rented clothing is carefully inspected for damage and professionally cleaned before being placed on the sales floor.
